The studio is exactly as described in the pictures and has everything you need (The bed is very comfortable and motorized- which is great – plus there is also a nespresso machine). The location is great ( 2eme arrondissement, near the Opera and Galleries Lafayette) Pascal was a great host, very useful, who provided us a lot of infos. Highly recommended.

  2. PARIS IN NOVEMBER

This is an excellent place to stay in Paris. The accommodations are compact but well-planned and very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bed is very comfortable. There’s a combination washer-dryer. The wifi is fast. This little studio has everything you could need, and the building has such great character. The location is superb, putting you within quick reach of everything you could want to see and do in Paris. The major museums are just a short walk away. Bus stops are a few steps away and there are two metro lines very close by. There’s a decent-sized grocery store around the corner –and many more a few blocks away. Plenty of restaurants, of course. On arrival, we took the RoissyBus from the CDG airport. It left us near the Opera, about a 7-minute walk from the apartment. On departure, we only had to walk a few minutes to catch a train at the EuroStar station to London. (Check out the SNAP tickets on Eurostar. They are deeply discounted.) We visited Paris in November and found it was a great time to enjoy the city while escaping the usual crowds of tourists. The weather was fine. Temperatures in the 50s. Often cloudy but no rain to speak of. (Much better weather than Minnesota usually has in November!) Pascal is a great host. He let us drop our bags early when we arrived and provided excellent guidance about how to enjoy the city. When we had a need, such as printing out tickets or figuring out how to use appliances, he met it. I can’t imagine how we could have been happier. Marty and Ellen
