Some words from past guests

December 2016

the studio is exactly as described in the pictures and has everything you need (The bed is very comfortable and motorized- which is great – plus there is also a nespresso machine). The location is great ( 2eme arrondissement, near the Opera and Galleries Lafayette) Pascal was a great host, very useful, who provided us a lot of infos. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent place to stay in Paris. The accommodations are compact but well-planned and very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bed is very comfortable. There’s a combination washer-dryer. The wifi is fast. This little studio has everything you could need, and the building has such great character. The location is superb, putting you within quick reach of everything you could want to see and do in Paris. The major museums are just a short walk away. Bus stops are a few steps away and there are two metro lines very close by. There’s a decent-sized grocery store around the corner –and many more a few blocks away. Plenty of restaurants, of course. On arrival, we took the RoissyBus from the CDG airport. It left us near the Opera, about a 7-minute walk from the apartment. On departure, we only had to walk a few minutes to catch a train at the EuroStar station to London. (Check out the SNAP tickets on Eurostar. They are deeply discounted.) We visited Paris in November and found it was a great time to enjoy the city while escaping the usual crowds of tourists. The weather was fine. Temperatures in the 50s. Often cloudy but no rain to speak of. (Much better weather than Minnesota usually has in November!) Pascal is a great host. He let us drop our bags early when we arrived and provided excellent guidance about how to enjoy the city. When we had a need, such as printing out tickets or figuring out how to use appliances, he met it. I can’t imagine how we could have been happier. Marty and Ellen

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in December and loved the apartment! It was so comfortable, beautifully decorated and equipped. We actually unpacked everything into the many drawers and closets. The bathroom was fabulous for such a small space with a wonderful shower. The location was excellent near the center of the city and close to shopping, markets and metro. Pascal was extremely friendly and helpful. We felt as if we were visiting a friend. There is no reason to fear visiting Paris as life is back to normal and security has been increased. The lights and life of Paris cannot be dimmed.

Pascal was an amazing host. He showed up at the apartment at 8am. Place was clean and convivial. Location is fantastic. After the tragic attacks in Paris, Pascal came the next day to reassure me. We spoke for a while. Kudos to him for taking such good care of his tenants. I really warmly recommend Pascal.

Pascal was such a pleasure to communicate with! Always a quick response and always with such a positive attitude! So accommodating as well! Meeting up with him was very simple, and when asking questions about local restaurants his list was great! The apartment is recently renovated, and very efficient with space. I’ve stayed at many places in paris, and this apartment was really great! Bed was also comfortable, with plenty of towels and toiletries. Definitely a strong recommendation!

Pascal’s place is great! We had a wonderful trip in Paris, and love the little apartment! First of all, Pascal is always reachable. He replies message very quick — sometimes within one minute!! For a first time to Europe traveler like me, and doesn’t speak French, this is very helpful, and make me feel calm and safe. Also, you have to try some of the restaurants that he recommended, those are delicious! His apartment is very clean. It’s like a hotel but with kitchen, washer (it’s a dryer also!) and nice host. It’s not big, but very efficient. At first i was worried about the folding bed — i was wrong, the bed is a queen bed and is very comfortable, and it’s a electrical folding bed. The apartment is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Also walking distance to Louvre, Seine river and Opera. We could visit one place in the morning, come back to take a nap, then go out again at night.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in this studio appartement. I would recommend it for any single travelers or a couple. The bed was so comfortable that I ended up sleeping in on some mornings, even though Paris was at my doorstep! Pascal was very kind and explained everything to me (how to use the television remotes and the Laundry Machine). I felt very welcomed and safe and will definitely be staying in this appartement or any others that Pascal is managing when I return to Paris.

This was an amazing studio apartment! Pascal, made us feel very welcome, he answered emails very quickly, efficiently and clearly. He met us at the apartment to help us get situated; he was always friendly professional and helpful. The listing is very accurate, the apartment is very clean and is close to everything, walking distance to the Louvre (and all of Paris really) the Metro and taxis. It was quiet, private and the a/c was really great to have for us a/c loving Americans! The bed was so comfortable and easy to operate. I need to stipulate that I was concerned the bed wouldn’t be big or comfortable enough, but it really was a proper bed. We had just spent the weekend in NYC before coming to Paris, and this apartment was bigger than the boutique hotel room we rented in SOHO. The apartment has one of those locks that you can lock from the inside so no one can come in when you are in there – just like a hotel. The washer/dryer unit was fantastic. WiFi is fast, and there is even a internet phone that we used to make international phone calls to our family back home. My husband and I think staying in this apartment was better than staying in a hotel.

I spent two weeks in this lovely studio. Everything is well-considered for convenience and comfort. I stored all of my belongings in the closets and drawers, allowing me to keep the studio tidy. The bathroom is ultra-modern will upscale fixtures including a rain shower and heated towel rack. The bed is operated by remote control to raise it into a cupboard, converting it to a sofa during the day. There is a modern heating/cooling system built-in to the apartment, wi-fi and a TV. The owner is welcoming and hospitable. This is the third Paris apartment that I’ve rented from him over the years, and will rent again in the future. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe here.
The location is near my friends who live in Paris, so this gave me a Parisian neighborhood experience, out of the tourism areas, but within easy walking distance to the Louvre in one direction, or Grand Boulevards in another. There are several metro stops nearby for zipping to other parts of Paris. There are true French restaurants nearby, especially for dinner, that I frequented more than once.

My stay at Pascal’s place was fantastic, he was very welcoming, his apartment well furnished, clean and the bed very confortable. Pascal has welcomed me early morning and brought my luggage up in the apartment due to the fact that I was running late for a meeting. He then made all the necessary arrangement to get my stay smooth and enjoyable and I really thank him for it. I would recommend his apartment without any hesitation and I am from my side looking forward to my next visit to Paris.

Pascal is very professional and helpful. He explained everything when we arrived, was available to help as required during our stay, and was on hand to see us off. He also kindly printed our train tickets.
The studio is exactly as pictured/described. Very modern – EVERYTHING is new. Despite being a small space, it was enough for the two of us and has everything you need, including kitchen, nespresso machine (with pods!) and washer/dryer. The bed is very comfortable and can fold up into a sofa to provide more space. It is high quality (as are the beddings) and is a proper bed. If you need, there is cable TV and a phone. Wifi is fast.
A modern studio in a nice part of Paris is a luxury. Highly recommended..
